Coming soon to iOS and Android- Which devices does Orbit support?
- Garmin, Oura, Fitbit, Polar, Withings, and Ultrahuman today, plus a WHOOP strap connected directly over Bluetooth. Apple Health, Google Health Connect, and COROS are on the roadmap but not built yet.
- Is my health data private?
- Orbit's Privacy Policy describes what's collected and why, drawn directly from what the app actually stores. [TODO: some sections of that policy are still marked for legal review.]
- How is my Recovery score calculated?
- [TODO: the exact inputs and thresholds behind the Recovery score.]
- How is Strain calculated?
- [TODO: the exact inputs and thresholds behind the Strain score.]
- What does the muscle recovery map show?
- An interactive front-and-back body map covering 19 independently tracked muscle groups. Tap any one for its recovery percentage, last-trained time, and estimated hours remaining.
- Does Orbit use AI to read my health data?
- Orbit's AI Coach reads summaries of your scores, training, meals, habits, and journal through a fixed set of tools, and can propose a draft workout or diet day — nothing changes until you approve it. It's not a medical assistant and doesn't diagnose, treat, or detect anything.
- Can I use Orbit without a Garmin device?
- Yes. Orbit also connects to Oura, Fitbit, Polar, Withings, and Ultrahuman, or to a WHOOP strap directly over Bluetooth — Garmin isn't required.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. Orbit Free covers your scores, the muscle recovery map, training, habits and journal, with 30 days of history. Pro adds the AI Coach, AI analysis and unlimited history for €5.99 a month or €39.99 a year. Everything, Pro included, is free during the beta.
- How do I cancel or delete my account and data?
- There's no subscription to cancel during the beta. Once Pro is available, you cancel it from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. To delete your account and all its data, go to Profile → Privacy & data in the app and tap delete account. It's permanent and can't be undone.
- Does Orbit replace my doctor or a medical device?
- No. Orbit is a personal project, not a medical device, and its Coach doesn't diagnose, treat, or detect anything. The recovery and training figures it shows are computed from your own logged activity.
